| New Plastic Drums for International Customers Franklin is pleased to announce a change in our drum packaging for our international customers. Starting January 1, 2011, we will begin phasing out our metal drums and transitioning into a fully recyclable, reusable plastic drum from Mauser.
The new drum is designed in accordance with NIOSH recommendations for easy handing and palletizing. The design permits us to place additional drums in an ocean container reducing the landed cost of our products. The plastic drums will eliminate rusting, denting and lining failures.
